Brother Klein requested donations of used baseball equipment for the
children of Dominican Republic. He will send items off in November. A
motion was also made, “Council to donate $250 to MACLA organization for
Children”. Motion 2nd and passed on voice vote.

Vocations Director: Tim Fobes
Trent Schmidt is a seminarian at Mundelein. His father is a member of the
council. A motion made for “The Council to donate $250 to support T.
Schmidt in his vocation studies”. Motion 2nd. Passed on voice vote.
“Hunting for Vocations” will be Dec 4-6th at Hoisington, KS same as
last year. Cost is $175 per Knight. 12-15 hunters can be accommodated.
Tickets for a $1000 gift card to Cabellas’ are being sold for $15each.
A deposit of $100 is needed soon.

auction at the Hilton Garden, Independence on Oct 24th.
Tony spoke on behalf of nurses in Mexico working with young pregnant girls
needing a Ultrasound machine to help determine delivery dates.

thru April 2010. They are also looking into purchasing 2 scoreboards. We will
also host 3 tournaments and provide concessions.
The Aug 16th Parish Golf tournament, they will need help with cooking for the
250/300 people who will be there. Sign up sheets will be after every Mass.

see Sean Carey. This breakfast is BEFORE our next scheduled meeting so
we need to finalize our schedule via email. 12 Knights per shift,
